Words vs. Pictures
Words vs. Pictures is a visual and literary arts program. Students learn different writing skills and art techniques while participating in workshops where the projects are designed to help them explore who they are and discuss topics that are important to them. At the end of the program year, the students’ work will be showcased in an art exhibit.
Classes are free and all materials are provided. The program meets on most Saturdays from 1-3:30pm at Wings Academy in the Bronx.
In order to participate in the program, students must:
- Live in the Bronx
- Be between 6 and 14 years old
- Have parental permission
