Robert Reeves

Robert has been volunteering in the community for over 17 years and knows first-hand the importance of outreach programs and the positive impact they create.

Robert Reeves currently serves as a Program Manager in the Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training International Program Office where he is responsible for supporting international naval business capture activities. Mr. Reeves is a native of Baltimore, Maryland where he developed a strong affinity for community service, teaching, and volunteerism as result of his own positive experiences with the Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust (B.E.S.T.) and McDonogh School. These organizations provided a means for him to access and excel in a college preparatory high school environment.

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. - George Bernard Shaw

Building on that foundation, Mr. Reeves graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to his professional activities, he has worked diligently as a volunteer over 17 years. He has served multiple roles within the National Society of Black Engineers, including President of the Lockheed Martin Moorestown Alumni Extension Chapter, and he currently serves as a Chapter Advisor and NSBE Jr Mentor. Mr. Reeves also served as a mentor to the First Robotics Lenape Regional team as well as the National Guard Youth Challenge Academy in New Jersey. He has received various awards and honors for his volunteerism, including the President’s Volunteer Service Award and Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors Outstanding Commitment and Support to the K-12 Outreach Programs.

Mr. Reeves appreciates how his own story was shaped by the foundational educational programs that helped get him started in the right direction. He believes that continually giving back is the most meaningful way to say thank you to those who volunteered their time and energy for him, while ensuring the next generation is empowered to also live their dreams.
