ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Sashalynillo is a Latin American visual artist, known for her commercial illustrations, fine art gallery paintings and street art. She is stylistically and classically trained, but leans towards a graphic approach drawing with shapes, line and limited color supported by symbolism. Her drawings are mostly based on news, politics, celebrities and documenting people in the streets of NYC and around the world. Already well known in New York, SASHALYNILLO has now reached international acclaim in the art world, having been accepted in the Reportager Award 2015 Exhibition in the United Kingdom.

Murjani Holmes is a Visual Artist who works largely with acrylic paint on various painting surfaces. She has exhibited in and worked with artists from Virginia to New York City. Murjani has a degree in Fashion Design which has very much left its mark on her work it has influenced the big focus on color, fabric, and prints. The urge to be creative has been very strong in her life since she was a child and as she puts it “My art is a reflection of that place where my mind goes today and has always gone since I was a child. I love color and still have the ability to look up at the clouds and see shapes.”

RT Morgan was born and raised in New York. He has always been able to draw upon his environment and family to inspire him. His ability to transform his visions into physical creations on his medium of choice embodies what an artist is. He has studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and at Briarcliffe College in Long Island. With a combination of perseverance towards a dream, personal influences, talent, and skill, each piece defines moments in his life. RT Morgan’s art has been repeatedly displayed at New Orleans’ Jazz Festival, The Jacob Javitz’ Center Art Expo, Art Basel, Newport’s Jazz Festival, and with the Harlem’s Fine Art Show.
