How I Spent My Summer Vacation

This summer I worked as a Water Sustainability research intern at the Interfaith Centre on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR). ICCR is a faith-based and socially-responsible investor membership organization in Manhattan seeking to promote and advance sustainable corporate business practices, both nationally and internationally, while enhancing the well-being of the communities in which they operate. Here, I led research advocating for water stewardship actions specifically in the American meat and poultry industry, and throughout apparel and textile supply chains operating in China and Bangladesh. In addition, I traveled to Canada to spend time with my friends and family in Toronto. I even managed to enjoy some time at one of Canada’s amazing beaches, Wasaga Beach!
